It was in 1997 during the "Francofolies" Music Festival on the docks of La Rochelle that I came across the didgeridoo. I quickly became infatuated with this unusual instrument with its captivating sounds which speak to the earth with the body. My work deals with the musicality, the teaching, the writing, and the acoustic quality of the didgeridoo. |

THEACHING - WRITING With the sole desire of sharing this passion, I have been leading didgeridoo workshops since 1998 for associations and music schools My work method is based on the quality and precision of the articulations and lead me to develop a system of music writing dedicated to the didgeridoo. This system would use the traditional writings for the rhythms and a modified phonetic alphabet to describe the articulations (for more information, see the website Ngaribi) |

I also lead introductory workshops for children on sounds of the didgeridoo. |

My research on the acoustic qualities of the didgeridoo allowed me to develop a precise method of design in order to explore and highlight the acoustic potential of the instrument My method (wood-turning) is based on the principles of woodwind instrument making which I adapted to the demands of the didgeridoo. |
